In Garmisch-Partenkirchen you’ll find a perfectly prepared, daily smoothed network of cross-country ski tracks for pure cross-country skiing pleasure and all free of charge. At the Kaltenbrunn cross-country skiing centre it’s a bit more challenging than on the easy cross-country ski track on Hausberg, and you can even try out biathlon. The permanent snow provides pure cross-country skiing pleasure. A highlight for sports-loving night owls is the illuminated cross-country ski track.
