Zugspitze – on the rooftop of Germany

With a height of 2,962 metres, the Zugspitze is Germany’s highest mountain. From here you can enjoy a unique 360°panorama with 400 peaks in four countries. Experience the eternal ice on a summer hike on the glacier, enjoy the sunshine in the clear air on Germany’s highest sun terrace. You’ll enjoy an unforgettable day in the Erlebniswelt Zugspitze. The cog railway takes you through the Zugspitze tunnel directly to the glacier. Then take the summit train up to the summit and go back down on the cable car.

You can get tickets for the Zugspitze round trip and all other cable car tickets from reception without having to wait.

The Eckbauer railway

The Eckbauer railway takes our guests safely up to 1,236 m. The new 6-seat cable car has plenty of space for the whole family. At the modern mountain station you can relax while enjoying the views.

The Partnach Gorge

The wildly romantic Partnach Gorge is absolutely impressive: the walls of the approx. 700 m long gorge, which can also be accessed in winter via tunnels and passages in the cliffs, rise up to 80 m. You can cross the gorge via a 68 m iron bridge located above the river.
