Festival weeks in Garmisch and in Partenkirchen

The Garmisch Festival Week takes place from the end of July to early August in Wittelsbacher Park in Garmisch, right behind the Congress Centre. This is followed by the Partenkirchen Festival Weeks, which take place at the foot of the Wank and opposite the Schützenhaus.

Processions, groups wearing traditional costume, whip-crackers, Schuhplattler dancers und stone lifters show what they can do. Watch children dancing, enjoy genuine Bavarian folk music and Bavarian specialities. Hearty snacks and, of course, lots of bavarian beer!
