Circular hike to the Tannenhütte
2nd day
The circular hike to the Tannenhütte am Wank (950m, with the famous Hackerbrücke - a large suspension bridge) is a varied and panoramic circular hike for the whole family (easy, partly steep and not suitable for strollers).
The view is great and a few stations next to the path as well as a large playground at the hut provide variety.
The path also leads through a sunny pine forest and is also recommended in the colder seasons.
Walking time: Ascent approx. 1:45 h, descent approx. 1:15 h.
The greatest tobogganing fun in Germany
5th day
Swap skis for sleds!
If you're looking for a perfect end to your day on the slopes, or if you'd rather steer a sled down the valley instead of one or two skis, you'll also find wonderful tobogganing opportunities in Germany's highest ski area.
Thanks to the significant expansion of the existing toboggan offerings and comfortable ascent assistance thanks to two chair lifts, there are no limits to the Zipfelbob fun: on the Schneefernerkopf toboggan slope, on the Sonnenkar toboggan run down to the White Valley and on the Wetterwandeck toboggan run, you can gain altitude quickly while sitting, accompanied by great panoramic views.
Feeding wild animals on the Kramerplateauweg
7th day
A fascinating natural spectacle awaits visitors big and small at this unique feeding show. Around 50 deer and calves come from the forest to their feeding place in the winter gate on Kramerplateauweg, Garmisch.
For many, feeding wild animals, one of the oldest in Bavaria, is an integral part of the winter. The local hunter Willi Erhardt awaits the animals with hay and a grass silo, a mixture of roughage and juice feed. The animals eat in peace and then disappear back into the thicket of the forest. Observing this is a special experience, especially for children. The game feeding on the Kramerplateuweg always takes place from Thursday to Sunday between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Admission: adults € 3,00 and children € 1,00. Please note: Dogs must be kept on a leash on the Kramerplateauweg near the game feeding area. In general, dogs are not allowed in the spectator area of the show feeding.

The Partnach Gorge in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
4th day
The Partnachklamm is no longer an insider tip. Every year more than 200,000 people visit the gorge, which was opened to tourists in 1912 and declared a natural monument. With a length of around 700 m and a depth of around 80 m, the Partnachklamm is certainly one of the highlights for every visitor to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is ideal for a short trip or as a starting point for further tours in the Reintal. Although you cannot park your vehicle directly in front of the gorge, you still have the opportunity to easily reach the gorge with one of the carriages available.
Meter-long icicles rise from the steep rock faces and grow together to form huge ice walls. Crystal-clear, centimeter-thick layers of ice ooze out of the rock as if by magic, and just a few meters from your feet, the icy and seemingly evergreen Partnach dances between ice-covered boulders and icicles. In winter you should pay particular attention to thick clothing, because a warm ray of sunshine rarely finds its way down into this icy landscape. The paths in the Partnachklamm are easy to walk on even in winter with sure-footed footwear.
Cow Escape Farchant
6th day
In the nature and recreation park, the name says it all. This is primarily about slowing down, relaxing and spending time in nature.
The forest nature trail provides all sorts of interesting information about forests with its exciting stations. The Farchanter village mascot, the FarchAnderl, accompanies guests young and old on this path. Balancing tree, forest school, jumping pit and tree telephone are just some of the many stations where you can get active.
The Cowhide Waterfalls are a group of three waterfalls. The three fall levels add up to approx. 270 m and are therefore among the highest in Germany. There are 100 meters of elevation gain from the lower to the upper Kuhfuge Bridge that have to be overcome before you stand in front of the thundering waterfalls.
Suitable for strollers.
