In Garmisch-Partenkirchen you’ll find a perfectly prepared, daily smoothed network of cross-country ski tracks for pure cross-country skiing pleasure and all free of charge. At the Kaltenbrunn cross-country skiing centre it’s a bit more challenging than on the easy cross-country ski track on Hausberg, and you can even try out biathlon. The permanent snow provides pure cross-country skiing pleasure. A highlight for sports-loving night owls is the illuminated cross-country ski track.

Speedy descents and long jumps

In Garmisch-Partenkirchen you’ll find one sporting highlight after the next and, as our guest, you’re close to the action and have a direct view of the ski jump. During the traditional New Year ski jumping, it’s all about the high-flyers. Since 1953, the world’s best ski jumpers Welt compete in the Four Hills Tournament and amaze thousands of visitors every year. Be right in the heart of the action when the big names in the Ski World Cup battle it out for hundredths of seconds on the legendary Kandahar.
